Blue Crabs Stay Hot, Beat Suns

Ocean City rode a fine outing from starter Ariel Prieto to victory over the Jacksonville Suns at Field of the Running Rebels. The final score was 2-1. Brian Bevil got the save, the 7th for him this season. The Blue Crabs, now 9-3, have been playing some good baseball.
Garey Ingram had a big 2-run single for the Blue Crabs in the top of the seventh inning. With Ocean City trailing 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a curveball from Jack McDowell and stroked the single to center. It was his 3rd hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blue Crabs ahead, 2-1.
"I was a little disappointed," said Jacksonville manager . "We could've and should've scored more runs."
