Swamp Foxes Rally to Eke Out Win
|
The Savannah Swamp Foxes topped the Buffalo Bisons, 2-1, in Atlantic action at Paradise Grounds. The player of the game was Savannah first baseman John Kruk. Savannah reliever Valerio de los Santos was credited with the win, to go to 2-0. Tim Fortugno took the loss for Buffalo. The Swamp Foxes bumped their record to 16-16 with this latest triumph.
Izzy Molina, the Savannah catcher, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the 11th inning to make the score 2-1, Swamp Foxes. For the game, Molina went 2-5 with 2 singles.
"This place sure got loud," said , the Savannah manager.
