The Milwaukee Otters did just enough to sneak past the Buffalo Bisons, 3-2, at Stags Ballpark. Milwaukee pitcher David Weathers earned player of the game honors. The first-place Otters have a one-game lead in their division.
Tony Graffanino hit a run-scoring triple off Felix Heredia in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Otters in front, 3-2. Graffanino had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
"It'd be nice to win by four or five runs," Weathers said, "instead of holding our breath the whole game."
