O'Neill Stars for Bisons in 13-7 Win
The Buffalo Bisons downed the Bluff City Beasties, 13-7, at Aspinwall Grounds. The Bisons were led by Paul O'Neill, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2. Buffalo's record now stands at 47-40, placing them third in the Atlantic Northeast.

The Bisons got an important contribution from left fielder Matt Stairs, who in the bottom of the sixth hit a first pitch fastball into center for a run-scoring single. It was his 93rd hit of the season and put the Bisons ahead, 8-7.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager .
