It was a good time at Fire Dogs Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Bluff City Beasties and Ocean City Blue Crabs get after it.

Charles Gipson had a 3-RBI game, during Ocean City's 18-5 triumph over the Bluff City. Gipson contributed 2 singles and 1 home run to the cause. Ariel Prieto, the winner, improved to 8-8. He held the Beasties to 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 2.

Ryan Long went 1 for 5 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 times for Ocean City. The 25-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Jeff Shaw. It was his 24th RBI of the season.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Long.

The Beasties, now 42-54, have lost 4 in a row.
