Blue Crabs Stun Dairy Daddies, 9-7
Despite a great performance by Danville right fielder Dion James, the Ocean City Blue Crabs defeated the Dairy Daddies by the score of 9-7 at Kernels Ballpark. James was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Milt Hill, credited with the win, is now 2-4. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. Ocean City is now 58-42, Danville 66-34.

Ocean City used the timely hitting of Charles Gipson to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blue Crabs on top, 8-7. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Ocean City manager .
