Red Sox Lose Again, 6-2, to Creams
Milwaukee Creams starter Phil Leftwich was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Boston Red Sox, 6-2. Leftwich went the distance for Milwaukee. He gave up 2 earned runs on 9 hits. The last-place Red Sox have dropped 7 straight games.

Milwaukee used the timely hitting of Tom Goodwin to capture the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Creams on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but he made it count.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Leftwich said.
