Blue Crabs Win at Buffalo, 5-3
|
Buffalo right fielder Brian Daubach had a good game, even if his team did not. The Bisons dropped a 5-3 decision to Ocean City at Aspinwall Grounds. Daubach went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. Chad Ogea, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 5 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 3. His record now stands at 2-0. The Blue Crabs, now 6-3, have been on a roll in the early going.
In the top of the fourth, with Ocean City leading 3-1, Edwin Diaz hit a fastball from Felix Heredia for a 2-run double, giving the Blue Crabs the lead, 5-1.
"We did a lot of things right," said Diaz.
