Blue Crabs Come Back Late to Top Suns
|
Ocean City starter Jamie Brewington pitched effectively against the Jacksonville Suns at Fire Dogs Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a 5-4 win. The Blue Crabs bumped their record to 29-18 with this latest triumph.
One of the biggest contributors for Ocean City was second baseman Scott Leius. In the bottom of the ninth, with the bases loaded, Leius got a 2-2 changeup and hit a walk-off run-scoring single. That put the Blue Crabs on top, 5-4.
"That's how to finish a ballgame," said Brewington.
